Radhakishan Rao Bompelli brings to the table over 26 years of expertise in the fields of digital
audio, video, and digital radio. His educational journey began in Kothur village in Warangal Dist,
Telangana state, culminating in graduation from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
department of NBKRIST, Vidyanagar, AP. Further advancing his academic pursuits, he earned a master's
degree from NIT, Warangal, Telangana.
Currently, RK holds the position of Founder and
Chief Executive Officer at Epigon Media Technologies Pvt Ltd and Chargtron IOT Pvt
Ltd.
Epigon has been a prominent player in the market for the past 23 years since its
inception in July 2000. Over this time, it has spearheaded numerous intellectual properties in the
realms of audio, video, and digital radio. It has successfully collaborated with major industry
players, delivering state-of-the-art software and hardware modules/products to renowned companies
such as LG Korea, Denon, Sony, Analog Devices Inc, Texas Instruments, Broadcom, Conexant, Philips,
Hitachi, AKM, and WorldSpace. Currently, Epigon has operational offices in Bangalore, India, and
Tokyo, Japan. A notable achievement for Epigon is its status as a fully Indian company, having
created the world's first "Satellite-enabled Tablet."
In 2020, RK founded Chargtron with
a visionary goal—to establish a community of innovators, technology architects, and problem solvers
united by a common mission: driving meaningful change in the education system for middle- and
low-income communities. Chargtron has been at the forefront of innovation, producing ground-breaking
products in India, including RAFT receivers and RAFT transmitters—compact assessment devices
